New Horizon United Church of Christ, located in the Town of Farmington, Wisconsin came into being through a merger of three local UCC churches in 2004. In 2006 the new congregation purchased and moved into a new location. The building is in the process of renovation and should be completed by Christmas of 2007.

New Horizon is affiliated with the United Church of Christ, which is a merger of two historic denominations. The Evangelical and Reformed Church and the Congregational Christian Churches merged in 1957 to form the denomination. The Congregational Church traces it history back to the Pilgrims. The Evangelical and Reformed Church came to this country from Germany early in the nineteenth century. Thus the United Church of Christ is one of the oldest and most diverse churches in the United States.
